We are a Volunteer-Led Organization

Dharmachakra Kadampa Buddhist Center is a non-profit organization, and we rely exclusively on volunteers to staff everything we do. Cleaning, accounting, website maintenance, carpentry, class assistance, offerings, operating Zoom—everything!—is done by volunteers.

Volunteering is a great way to share your talents, have fun and help Buddha’s wisdom teachings flourish in the Coachella Valley. Plus, volunteering is a great way to get to know other Dharma practitioners and learn more about applying Dharma teachings to our lives.

Everyone is welcome to volunteer. You don’t need a special skill or experience. We have many volunteer opportunities that require little or no training. However, if you do have a special skill, please let us know.

It doesn’t matter how small a task may seem, contributing your time is immensely meaningful. You can volunteer as little or as much time as you like. Each and every hour of volunteering counts. Let us know about your abilities and availability, and we can accommodate your schedule and match your abilities to our needs.
