How to Understand the Mind by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche offers a deep insight into our mind and shows how an understanding of its nature and functions can be used practically in everyday experience to improve our lives.

Through meditation, we learn to become spiritual scientists of the mind.  Learning what is the mind, the process of the mind and states of mind that produces happiness and unhappiness.

You can join on a drop-in basis or as part of Foundation Program.

About the Teacher

Over the past 13 years, Kadam Amy has taught at the NKT-IKBU centers in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Santa Monica.  After completing the 2018 Intensive Teacher Training Program at Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre in Ulverston, England, she was appointed as the Resident Teacher of Dharmachakra Kadampa Buddhist Center, Palm Springs.

With warmth and sincerity, Kadam Amy shows the joy of integrating Buddha’s teachings into daily life and is an inspiring example of modern Kadampa Buddhist practitioner.
