The Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni

February 4th, 10am - 3:30pm

An Empowerment is a beautiful, ancient ceremony that helps us make a special heart relationship with a Buddha, in this case with Buddha Shakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism. The all-purpose room of the Church of St. Paul’s in the Desert will be transformed into a Pure Land so that we are enabled to open the Buddha within each of us. This is an opportunity to transform our minds at a deep level. It is called “an Empowerment” because we are empowered to change through the blessings of Buddha Shakyamuni. You do not need to be a Buddhist or become a Buddhist to receive these blessings and experience this Empowerment. Read more.
